The ELAM Energy Saver

Manual for installing the Elam Energy saver in conventional T8 fixtures.

This manual in only intented for installing the Elam Energy saver in fixtures equiped with a conventional control gear and a working voltage of 220-240V.

EES_Arrow_Right.png Switch off the light.
EES_Arrow_Right.png Remove the T8 tube and the starter.
EES_Arrow_Right.png Install the dummy starter.
EES_Arrow_Right.png Place the Elamenergy saver with the TL5 lamp in the holder of the fluorescent light fixture and rotate the adapter a quarter of a turn in its working position.
EES_Arrow_Right.png Switch on the light.
 

Remark:
Just like all other TL fluorescent lamps, the TL5 fluorescent also has a burning in time of at least 100 to 200 hours before reaching it’s maximum light capacity.

Attention:
At installation use only new T5 tubes. Damaged fixturen can lead to damage of the connecting pins of the adapter. We advise you to be careful at the installation of the adapter

Instructions w.r.t. to safety:
Before exchanging the existing T8 tube with the EES switch off the light. Too prevent over compensation of the fixture and to guarantee a trouble free functioning of the adapter remove if installed compensation capacitors. 


The EES cannot be installed in fixtures already equiped with electronic gear without changing the wiring.
